HOW TO DISABLE USB PORT!!!!


Today we are going to discuss that how are you going to disable the USB ports of your PC. Suppose in case your have to give your PC to your smaller brother and you know that your PC is more prone to viruses now,this trick come very handy.
So, let us start with the steps:
  • In the start menu, right click on My Computer (Windows XP) or Computer (Windows Vista/7), A menu like this comes up:

  • Click Manage. A screen like this comes up:

  • In Device Manager, Click  Universal Serial Bus Controllers and find right click on USB root hub>Disable, Now just close windows and Reboot if you like. Now anyone can`t open USB in your PC.

  • Note:Check eventually any stoppage of USB based service such as mouse or you won`t be able to use that!!!
